A mesh is only as good as its worst hop. The Beacon is what you put on the roof, the pole, or the ridge to close that gap — solar powered, so nobody climbs back up to charge it.

WHY IT'S IN THE SHOP

It arrives configured. Latest Meshtastic firmware, a private encrypted channel on the primary slot, public on the secondary. Mount it, aim it, and it joins the mesh. Solar panel, enclosure, and antenna rail are one integrated frame, so there's no bracket-and-zip-tie improvisation at the top of a ladder.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Atlavox Beacon — solar panel, enclosure, and antenna mounting rail in one frame.
• ALFA 5 dBi LoRa antenna, 915 MHz or 868 MHz to match the variant you pick.
• External 2.4 GHz Bluetooth antenna for phone pairing at the mount point.
• N-type pigtail for the LoRa antenna.
• SMA pigtail for the Bluetooth antenna.

FIELD NOTES

Height beats gain on LoRa. A Beacon at 20 feet does more for your coverage map than another handheld node at ground level. Pick 915 MHz for the US and Canada, 868 MHz for the EU — they don't talk to each other.
